Turning industrial technology into measured value
Global Lead for Business Consulting at Honeywell Process Automation, based in Dubai.
Most digital transformation programmes in heavy industry do not deliver the value set out in their business case. The technology usually works. What fails is the link between a technical intervention and a financial outcome an operator will underwrite — and the discipline to verify that outcome once the system is running.
I lead a global team of former strategy consultants working with refiners, chemical producers, and mining operators. We run the operational diagnostic, build the investment case, and stay with the programme until the improvement appears in reported performance.
I hold a PhD in mechanical engineering from Imperial College London and spent four years at McKinsey & Company before moving to industry in 2021.

What I do
Value creation
Operational improvement programmes in refining, chemicals, and metals and mining. Non-capital levers first: capacity utilisation, energy consumption, maintenance cost, and manning. Programmes typically target 2 to 12 percent EBITDA improvement, with payback within two years.
Digital and OT transformation
Autonomous operations, advanced process control, predictive maintenance, digital twins, and industrial AI assistants. Business case, deployment, and post-implementation measurement.
Strategy and corporate development
Commercial strategy, market entry, go-to-market design, and commercial due diligence for acquisitions in industrial technology.
